What is the Rural Events Grant Scheme?
This grant scheme offers community groups and organisations financial assistance towards the cost of planning, co-ordinating and hosting a series of events within rural Conwy.
The scheme aims to encourage rural businesses, community groups, chambers of trade, support agencies and service providers to work together and develop an annual schedule of 5 major events per year for 3 years.
Theses events, which are designed to support and enhance the range of events currently held in Conwy, will showcase new business initiatives and opportunities. They are intended to attract more visitors and enhance rural tourism, to help diversify and strengthen the rural economy, and to boost business and employment opportunities.
