About the project
The purpose of this project is to compile an accurate account of disused properties, redundant buildings and brown field sites within rural Conwy, which represent community assets or have potential for development.
Information will be gathered, from sources including Conwy County Borough Council, community groups and local businesses, and compiled to produce a property register for use by prospective developers looking for opportunities within rural Conwy. Resulting commercial activity will contribute to the local economy and provide employment possibilities.
The project will look at existing labour resources, skills shortages and training opportunities in rural Conwy. It will promote environmentally sustainable development and assist in maintaining the area as a pleasant place to live, work and invest.
