Teithiau Nant Conwy
What is Teithiau Nant Conwy?
The Teithiau Nant Conwy project aims to develop activity-based tourism across the Upper Conwy Valley and Gwydyr Forest, by taking advantage of their unique natural assets.
The project covers a range of features: creating a network of trails for walking, cycling and horse riding, developing a sustainable network of transport (incorporating trains, buses and footpaths, for instance), capitalizing on the current growth in activity-based tourism, and encouraging economic regeneration throughout the region – particularly within smaller rural communities.
Teithiau Nant Conwy provides local people and visitors with the opportunity to actively and easily explore rural Conwy, while at the same time working to protect its natural environment. It takes into account the competitive activity-based tourism market, as well as things like accessible routes, tourist information, security, local facilities and accommodation.
