Competition to design a T-shirt for RDP’s mascot: CER-I-CONWY…
We are very eager to engage with primary schools in order to promote Rural Development and therefore have decided on adopting a mascot. The mascot will be in the shape of a bear and will be named Cer-i-Conwy.
Cer-i-Conwy will need clothing and we extend an invitation for the pupils to take part in a competition to design a t-shirt. The competition will be sponsored by Sional.
We request that the entries be sent to us here at Glasdir and to arrive no later than Wednesday, March 21st, 2012. They will be judged by a panel of three and the schools will be informed of the names of the winners. The entries will be displayed in the reception area at Glasdir from April 3rd and the winner will be announced during our Vintage Easter Fair, April 13th – 14th, 2012.
The winning entrant will win a replica t-shirt of their design and a certificate and will be invited to attend the introduction/launch of Cer-i-Conwy at the RDP stand at the Urdd Eisteddfod on June 4th, 2012 and will also receive updates as she/he travels around. The runners-up will both receive a miniature teddy wearing a t-shirt depicting their designs and certificates.
