Conwy Rural Partnership…
The Partnership
The Conwy Rural Partnership (CRP) was formed in early 2000 and came from the first meeting of the Conwy Rural Forum. With 19 members and the support of officers of key organisations with a rural development remit it has been successful in advising initiatives under Objective 1, Rural Business Action, Rural Tourism Growth Area and Rural Community Action. Conwy County Borough Council (CCBC) hosts the CRP and act as its accountable body under a service level agreement.
During 2006, the CRP has strengthened its membership to have a more equal representation of public, private, community and voluntary sectors with a membership of 28.
During the first business plan 2008-2011 the CRP successfully delivered projects valued at over £5.7million and is currently implementing the second business plan 2011-2013 with projects valued at £5.2million for rural Conwy.
