Business Awards…
The Rural Conwy Business Awards will be held at the Eagles hotel on March 23rd, 2012. The event will celebrate the achievements of micro businesses (less than 10 employees) in rural Conwy. We’re looking for original businesses with unique stories to tell in terms of how you have achieved success in different areas of business as identified by the award categories. We want to hear your story!
Why should your organisation enter the Rural Business Awards?
· Raise public awareness of your businesses achievements, services and products.
· Effective way of boosting team morale and acknowledging the hard work and dedication of yourself and your team (If you have one!)
· Attendance at the awards is an opportunity to network with other businesses, creating a support network between businesses in rural Conwy.
Preconditions of entrants:
· Micro-business (Less than ten full time employees)
· Must not be a tourism, agricultural or Forestry business
· You must declare if you have any association to local councillors and/or any persons who may be construed as having an influence on the panel and any decisions.
Innovation of the Year (Creativity and originality of businesses that has had an impact on the market and workplace)
New Business of the Year
Young Entrepreneur of the Year (Up to 25 years old)
Woman in Business Award
Environment Award (Efforts of businesses towards becoming more environmentally sustainable)
Community Award (Actions and commitments of businesses to work with and for the community)
E-Commerce Award (Successful/well marketed products/services online, a link to your business website is required)
