Conwy Sustainable Resources…
The project will support and promote sustainable development in rural Conwy and has two strands:
• Community Capacity Building to enable community groups to play a key role in identifying and implementing regeneration activities for their communities;
• Developing and utilising renewable resources to encourage economic and environmental benefits.
The project offers support to both public groups and the private sector and concentrates on four key themes:
The project is only eligible in Rural Conwy and offers up to 75% support funding to successful applicants. Incorporating the ‘Leader’ approach it is a bottom - up method of delivering support for rural development through implementing local strategies. Support will be awarded by the Axis 4 Local Action Group to projects that demonstrate innovation, originality or experimentation and complement local development plans.
