Funding may be offered for expert consultancy and the purchase and installation of energy harnessing technology for up to 75% of costs. For example:
• Expert feasibility assessment of suitable technologies
• Site surveys and infrastructure improvements
• Purchase and installation of equipment
(projects receiving this grant to purchase equipment may not be eligible to receive UK Government ‘Feed in Tariff’ or Renewable Heat Incentive payments)
Examples of renewable technologies include:

Assistance is available for those at all stages of local renewable energy projects. Interested groups or businesses are invited to contact the project officer to discuss their project. Please note that this grant is not available for solely domestic renewable energy installations.
Grants of up to 75% towards predevelopment costs and for the installation and commissioning of renewable energy technologies may be awarded. Projects of all scales will be considered, subject to meeting eligibility requirements. Projects which demonstrate partnership working and both wide support and benefits will be prioritised.
