Conwy Cynhaliol (Sustainable Conwy) (2011-2013) is a local scheme offering grant support for developing the production, processing and marketing of locally grown produce.
Funding may be offered for expert consultancy or the purchase of equipment to achieve, for example:

- New product identification or improvement
- Suitable site assessment and improvement
- Local supply chain development, adding value and product sale
Conwy Cynhaliol could provide support for the purchase of new harvesting or processing equipment or for the development and marketing of existing products produced in rural Conwy. Support is also available for training relevant to the sector.
Proposals should demonstrate innovation or seek to develop new products to rural Conwy.
Grants may be awarded according to the following limits;

Grants may be awarded according to the following limits;
- Grants of up to 75% towards costs not exceeding £8,500
- Grants of up to 50% towards costs exceeding £8,500
Support for training is also available and those interested should contact the project officers to discuss.
Applications follow a two stage process, following initial discussion with a project officer:
Initial expressions of interest and full applications are assessed by the Local Axis 4 Group who evaluate the contribution of the proposals to the objectives of the Conwy Rural Development Strategy and Axis 4 of the Rural Development Plan.

A Taste of Conwy is a short film recognising just a handful of the mounting array of food producers in the region and honouring their passion and dedication to growing freshly sourced and quality local produce.
