New Year Message…
Here we are at the beginning of a new year. We are keen for this year to be full of events as part of our campaign to raise awareness of the grants and initiatives which are available for rural areas in Conwy.
The new projects which are in operation from April 2011 to December 2013 and the scheme offers numerous grants, as already published in local papers and co-ordinate activities to have a positive impact on rural areas in Conwy.
We have attended local shows over the summer and numerous events in different areas within the County to raise awareness of what’s on offer. The team are based at the Glasdir Centre in Llanrwst and have funding available for specific events and activities within Conwy rural areas. A successful Christmas Craft and Food Fair was held here at the end of November with 32 stalls selling locally produced crafts and gifts and we are already organising a Vintage Easter Fair for April.
We also have Grant Surgeries organised as follows:
21:02:2012 Community Centre, Llanfairtalhaiarn 10am – 12pm
06:03:2012 Parish Rooms, Cerrigydrudion 10am – 12pm
All are welcome to come and see us as we will have information for individuals, businesses and local community groups in rural Conwy.
